Who would have thought a little Ukulele was a perfect fit for this Tall guy. The very first Ukulele that graced the hands of Colin was a dollar off of Ebay. It didn't make a real note and drove his roommates crazy, but it was love at first strum. Eventually he upgraded to a better ukulele and started to find his voice through the Uke.
Why the Uke? Simply... It feels right. Colin has tried the guitar.. too damn big. Played the trumpet for a week in 5th grade, after shoving a wire cleaner up his finger that act was quickly erased. The idea entered his head when he stumbled upon a few Ukers on youtube.
The instrument was first meant to be just a party gag, but as music began to make sense Colin found that the Ukulele was hard to put down. Influenced by other Ukulele players and artists such as Seeso, Aldrine Guerrero and a bucket load of others that can be found through YouTube. A passion to learn vigorously through watching others as well as trying to help others however he can. Listening to songs, readings tabs, and figuring out his own style.
Colin considers himself a student of music as he is learning all about it first hand. He hopes to one day be able to write his own songs, until then there are many songs that he and Brittni want to cover.
